There is something extremely lush about staying in a hotel in the city you live in. It screams, “I don’t need to, but hell yeah I am”… just like a Lamborghini.

Alternatively, if you’re looking for some action, immerse yourself in the laneways and alleyways of the city which are literally right at your doorstep. The NGV is a short walk away if you’re looking for a culture fix, or take a wander along the Yarra, conveniently just across the road.
For the overachievers, they’ve got a fitness centre for your #fitspo fix. It overlooks Flinders St station so you can openly oggle at passersby all you want from the treadmill. Don’t worry, the windows are tinted.
DoubleTree is under the Hilton umbrella so it’s guaranteed you’ll get the best, but it’s luxury without the starch. Ties are a rare sighting and drinks are encouraged (they have cookie cocktails too!).
