Ahead of the highly anticipated ‘friendly’ between Australia and Brazil at the MCG, Nike hosted an exclusive event for fans and VIP in a secret Melbourne location.
Guests were treated to panna activations, demonstrations of the latest in football technology, and a futsal tournament featuring the best of the best; past and present professional football athletes playing off for the coveted NTB trophy.
With special appearances from Marco Bresciano and Brett Emerton, two icons from the glorious 2006 World Cup team, fans were treated to the reminiscent trickeries and finesse of two players that graced the field and positioned Australian football where it is today.
However, the real surprise was the arrival of players from their respective Brazilian and Australian international teams; some of the current best players in the world.
Fans scrambled to get a selfie with Philippe Coutinho and Fernandinho, whilst Aussies Aaron Mooy and Tommy Rogic also posed for photos with die-hard fans.
