Tuesday the 12th of March marked the global premiere of the Mercedes-Benz EQC. This day, 130 years since they invented the car, is a momentous occasion, the next step of the electric revolution. The next step of the future, not just for Mercedes.
This SUV, with sleek lines and iconic star badge, is the first in a full range of electric vehicles that will be brought to market by 2022. Without a single drop of petrol, with no local emissions, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds. Going far not fast, it was has a range of up to 450km with the Mercedes-Benz Home Wallbox charging the new EQC three times more quickly than when using a conventional domestic socket.
