Bird In Hand MAC Shiraz Launch

[emphasized type=”emphasized”]Food, wine, music and a view to die for… a soaring night at Bird In Hand![/emphasized]

Last Saturday 10 December, Bird in Hand‘s founders Andrew and Susie Nugent hosted an intimate dinner to launch their MAC Shiraz 2013.

Overlooking the vines and the rolling Adelaide Hills, the launch was held in a private marquee, and in conjunction with their annual vineyard concert series; this year featuring Australian singer-songwriter Missy Higgins.

Under the stars and amongst the vines, Missy Higgins and her live band fused with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and performed to a sold-out crowd.

Fusing delicious food, incredible wine and beautiful Australian music – the best combination of things – it was an extraordinary night to be apart of.

The MAC Shiraz 2013 is the latest release in Bird in Hand’s Tribute Series. The MAC Shiraz was created from the 2013 vintage by selecting and blending only the finest barrels of Shiraz. Following 24 months in tightly grained French oak, individual parcels of Shiraz were selected, blended and bottled for a further 12 months. The result is 2200 individually numbered bottles of deep red Shiraz with dense aromas of ripe blackberry fruit, spice and pepper.

A delectable drop, shop the MAC here.
